Puppy Training
(For dogs 8 weeks - 6 months old)
A puppy that learns "how to learn" will be able to learn new things more quickly throughout life! More than some "store brand" Basic Beginner package, these 6 week coaching packages teach you how to correctly train your pet with patient explanations and working examples - puppy gets a solid foundation in basic skills! With practice, this program can lead your pet to become an excellent "canine citizen." Rules of Socialization, Positive Training and Reinforcement Timing, Crate and Housebreaking Information, Doorway Manners and Much More.
PUPPY PRE- SCHOOL: for puppies 8-15 weeks old - $550
Rules of Critical Socialization Period…
Leadership Ideals; Animal Behavior + Learning Basics; Feeding; Housebreaking and Crate training, Grooming; Loose Leash Walking; First Aid
Active Training begins with FOCUS Exercises- And then covers All Foundation Behaviors:
Watch, Okay, Sit, Down, Heel, Stay + Come

Over the course of 6 weeks- Pet Parents will receive plenty of encouragement, confidence boosters and tools to solve basic pet problems.
PUPPY KINDERGARTEN: $ 550 (in your home) $450 (at Bark Avenue, Cresskill)
(for puppies 16 Weeks - 6 Months Old)
This course offers the equivalent education of the plan above. However, a Puppy’s Critical Socialization Period has ended, so lessons are more focused and geared towards developing and testing core obedience behaviors.
Lesson packages include 6 sessions lasting 1 - 1 1/2 hours per week or spread over a period of no longer than two months. Sessions can be on the same day and time weekly or scheduled randomly. Cancellations 24 hours or more in advance will be honored and rescheduled.

For availability of puppy training lessons outside of these areas, please inquire.
